Them Guys Featured in The Sound 228

I first photographed Them Guys on at The Basin Hall in Baton Rouge. Months later, I got to interview the band at the same downtown venue.
The article captures their journey from a Vacherie garage playing Chevelle covers to writing two songs a week during the pandemic, resulting in their debut album All a Dream. Their album laid their foundation. Their follow-up Delusions won Album of the Year at the 2024 Josie Music Awards. That opened doors to bigger crowds, support with Fuel, and a win for Best Rock Band at the Third Coast Music Awards in 2025.
Currently, the band is gearing up for their next album, Reborn, due out fall 2025. This one maps out everything they’ve been through. I get to document that story through my lens and words, which is why I do this work.
